Wat Ban Rai

Wat Ban Rai (วัดบ้านไร่) or The Elephant Temple in Nakhon Ratchasima is a very impressive site. I had no idea of the significance of elphants in Buddhism and google told me they are guardians of Buddha as well as being a national symbol of Thailand. I did know that this was pretty to look at.

I found that the basement of the temple would have made a great disco.

The main hall of the temple had some very attractive paintings.
