Playing Tourist on My Way to Watch Rockets

I'm once again heading to watch the rockets in Yasothon. On my trip to get there I am playing tourist a bit.

I spent a night in Saraburi and then on to Korat and my first stop at Wat Non Kum (วัดโนนกุ่ม).

I then visited a few Khmer Ruins in the area. The first was Prasat Muangkao (ปราสาทเมืองเก่า).

The second was Prasat Non Ku.

The thrid was Mueang Boran Sema (เมืองโบราณเสมา).

I also went by Prasat Muangkhaek (ปราสาทเมืองแขก) but there was an enterence fee to go into the grounds of this site and seeing the site from the parking area I decided to take a pass.

I then stopped by Wat Thammachak Semaram or Wat Phra Non Khlong Khwang (วัดธรรมจักรเสมาราม วัดพระนอนคลองขวาง) to see Dvaravati Thailand's largest sandstone reclining Buddha but the area seemed to be under construction so didn't get to see it.

I rode on from there in the direction of Yasothon and found a hotel in Non Daeng District of Nakhon Ratchasima. It was a long hot day on the bike and I was happy to have a shower and a bit of AC before the storm came in and knocked out the powe for a few hours.

Tomorrow I should be in Yasothon
