The city of Chonburi has an annual festival for racing buffaloes or Wing Kwai วิ่งควาย in Thai. The following is a compilation of all the races I tried to film on the 9th of October 2022.
It was a bit hot and crowed but after a few hours of racing the crowd decreased and I was able to set in the stands between races. The crowd decreasing always helped with not being hit in the head every few minutes by an umbrella.

Wonder why they sit so far back on the animal? CLY
ReplyDeleteI have no idea. It also seems a bit strange to me but am sure they have a good reason. Maybe it is so they can get off easy without being stepped on.
