Phimai

From Pak Chong it took a couple of busses to reach Phimai. It only took a few hours and was one of the more pleasant bus rides in Thailand that I had. Phimai is a small town with an Angkor period temple in the center of town. I spent the afternoon walking around the temple and then visiting the museum in town. It was a pleasant day and I enjoyed the temple more then the ones I had seen at Sukhothai.

Since Phimai is such a small town and I don’t think it gets that many tourist it was a real place and also I really like the hotel that I stayed in.
