Summer Palace

I tried to take the subway and a bus to get to the Summer Palace which is a ways out of the center of Beijing. The subway was easy but I did not know where to catch the bus. A guy saw me walking around looking lost and came up and helped me find the stop and he would not just point it out to me he insisted on making sure I got on the bus before he went on his way.

I spent the whole day walking around the park and enjoying the buildings and the view of the lake. The tower sets on a hill and there is suppose to be 100 steps up to it and if you climb these steps you are suppose to live to be 100 years old. I came up from the backside of the tower so not sure if I get to count on become 100.
