Rockets Video and Heading Home

I am writing this a week after returning home but am going to back date it to when I arrived home. It has taken a bit of work and is way to long of a video but following is my video summary of my 2025 Rocket Festivals (บุญบั้งไฟยโสธร 2568).



My plan when I left Yasothon was to spend the night in the city of Buriram. I have spent a lot of time in the Province of Buriram but have never spent any time in the capital city.

I stopped to see The Buriram Castle (บุรีรัมย์ คาสเซิล) which is a recreation of a Khmer temple and sits behind the football stadium and in the middle of the Moto GP circuit. Not sure I would have known that it was not real but a recreation if I had not read this before.

I rode over to the hotel I had planned on staying in and for some reason did not like the look of the place and it was still early in the afternoon so I discarded the idea of staying in Buriram city. I rode a couple of more hours and ended up staying in a hotel in a small town in Sa Kaeo Province that I have stayed at a couple of times on my trips through this Province.

I had decided to stay for awhile in Pattaya before going home so the next day I made the long ride to Pattaya and found a hotel that I would call home for the next week. I did not do much in Pattaya but eat and drink and just be lazy. Then after a week I made the long ride back through Bangkok to my home in Kanachanaburi.

I really enjoyed my 2025 rocket trip and am sure I will do it again next year and am already looking forward to it.
