Viharn Sien

I should read a bit about the temples I visit before going but I do sometimes just enjoy the surprise. I did not expect to see Terracotta Warriors from Xian China in a chinese temple in Thailand.

It is my understanding this is the only permanent exhibition of terracotta warriors outside of China. I first saw some terracotta warriors on a traveling exhibition but seeing the full army in Xian is way more impressive.

Viharn Sien is more of a museum than a temple with many bronze statues and cultural artifacts. I thought it was well worth the 50 bhat enterence fee for walking around in my socks and looking at stuff.
