2 Days of Failure

I bought a concert ticket last month and the day after I bought the ticket the concert was cancelled. I went back to the 7-11 where I bought the ticket and tried to get my money back. They told me I would have to wait for a text message on my phone and then come back in to get the money. I received the text message and it said I could get my money back on the 1st of October.

I went back to the 7-11 yesterday with the text message and thought I would get my money back in 5 minutes. I was wrong I spent about 2 hours in the 7-11 and left with them telling me someone will call you. The manager in the 7-11 was great and the one doing all the work for those 2 hours trying to get my money back but it still failed. I am currently waiting on the call back and have no idea if the problem is with 7-11 or All-Tickets which is the ticketing company. I am suppose to get a refund of the 1230 Thai baht or about US $40. It will not break the bank if I don't get the money but not sure I will ever buy a concert ticket in advance to another concert in Thailand if I don't get the refund.

I just found and read the following letter so will have to try again at 7-11.

Today was another failure. I enjoyed the long-tail boat races and the infomation where I found the 1st event details had 3 more events.

The 2nd event was suppose to be in Nong Fai, Kanchanaburi. My understanding that it would take place at the football stadium. I could not find a stadium in Nong Fai, Kanchanaburi on Google Maps. I assumed if I just went to Nong Fai and asked someone and showed them the picture from above they would point me to the correct place. Again I assumed incorrectly.

I rode the 100 Kilometers or 60 miles out to Nong Fai, Kanchanaburi and asked around 6 different people and no one knew anything about long-tail boat races taking place today. I checked on the facebook group where I got this picture and could not find any other reference to the races in Nong Fai, Kanchanaburi. I ate a bowl of noodles and admitted to myself that I am once again a failure. I hopped on the bike and returned home hoping my next adventure would have a happier outcome.
