Friday's Face-Istanbul, Turkey

Both sides of the Galata Bridge in Istanbul is full of people fishing. This is a picture of one of the men fishing from the bridge this week. All the men use really big poles but all of the fish I saw being taken off a hook were really small. I did notice some fish in buckets that were about 8 to 10 inches long but still small compared to the length of the poles.

    I had an interesting week over there, enjoy and don't miss food such as iskender and kunefe :-)

      Hey Daniele,

      I tried the Jordan version of Kunefe when I was there but will have to give the Turkish version a try. I will make sure I give the Iskender a try. Thanks for the advice. Keith
