Hat Krathing Lai Park and King Taksin Park

As a retired boring old man I watch a lot of youtube. When I see somewhere new to me I sometimes make a note of it and try and visit it for myself.

I saw a news story on groups of teenagers causing problems in the beach side park of Hat Krathing Lai. I did not go to the park to join in the teenage mayhem but to visit a new park I had not heard of before the news story.

There was a lot of trash on the beach that runs along the water front side of the park but had a nice view of the Sanctuary of Truth in the distance.

I have not visited the Sanctuary of Truth since 2012 but here is a picture from my visit back then.

It has been well over a year ago that I saw a news story on youtube about the completion of a bridge for pedestrians to the King Taksin Park. I finally decided to go and give this park and the Temple Tha Kradan a visit. Not sure why they have all the roster statues around the building with the statue of the King.
