2014 Favorite Pictures

It is now 2025 but I was looking through some of my old posts and noticed I didn't post a 2014 picture summary on the blog. I am posting this and with a date of 10 years in the past and sorry it took me so long to post these. I did post them on my facebook page and did some posts in 2014 so you may have already seen all of these pictures.

I had been to Istanbul, Turkey in the past but did not explore any of the rest of the country. I ended 2013 in Jordan and the flight I had going back to Amsterdam went via Istanbul so I spent about a month in the country.

I visited Nagorno-Karabakh in 2014. Nagorno-Karabakh is a region that considered itself an independent country when I was there. There was a conflict there in 2020 and after this war all of Nagorno-Karabakh was formally returned to Azerbaijani control.

I ended the year in Amsterdam. A friend went traveling in Mexico for a month so I rented her place for a month and took a bit of a break from travel. I hope you enjoyed some of my pictures from 2014.
