I am once again in Holland for a week before flying off to somewhere different. I have not taken many pictures so did not have a picture of a real person I liked but am still posting a face.

These heads with their mouths open where put above stores to show that the store was a pharmacy or apotheke in Dutch. My Dutch is not great but I remembered for some reason that these heads are called gapers which means yawners. The name comes from the open mouth but it is not believed to open from yawning but rather to swallow a pill.
