2013 Favorite Pictures

It is now 2025 but I was looking through some of my old posts and noticed I didn't post a 2013 picture summary on the blog. I am posting this with a date of 11 years in the past so do not remember all the details of each of these pictures. I did post them on my facebook page and did some posts in 2013 so you may have already seen all these pictures.

I was still working in 2013 and took a vacation in March going to Italy and San Marino.

I stopped work around May/June of 2013 and even though I did not say I was retired at the time now 11 years later without working it is safe to say I retired. I flew from Amsterdam to Belgrade Serbia and started my retirement travels.

My next country was Macedonia which now goes by the name of North Macedonia. When I was there it had the official name of Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia because of the region in Greece that is Macedonia.

I traveled from Macedonia to Bulgaria.

My next country was Romania. I returned to a number of these countries in later travels.

One of the reasons I was traveling in Poland is that some of my friends had a trip planned to visit Krakow. I sort of crashed their party in Krakow Poland in September 2013.

I joined a tour when I visited Wadi Rum, Jordan and the people on the top of the arch were members of the tour. I am not good at meeting people when traveling and really enjoyed getting to know these people for a few days.

2013 was a great year and I had a lot of fun. I did not include any picture of the snow in the middle east but it was something I never expected to experience. I hope you enjoyed a few of my favorite pictures and I guess posting them now is better than never but sorry it took me so long.
