Flat Peach

Flat Peach This week I was in the office and one of my co-workers was eating a piece of fruit I had not seen before. He told me it was called a wild peach but I have not been able to find much about a wild peach on the internet but found references to a flat peach. I bought some this weekend and here is a picture of one. I think it tastes about the same as a peach that I am use to eating but maybe a bit crisper.

When I bought the peaches I was surprise to see that they were selling dragon fruit in Holland. I don’t like dragon fruit all that well so gave it a pass but cherries are also in season and I could not pass them up.
