Do you think the bamboo worms were worth looking for? I thought the grasshoppers were OK but just tasted like anything fried and was crunchy. I did not like the silk worms to mushy for me.biervoormijhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00351247668510605694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7028811153379946839.post-53759000596300707572012-05-15T13:36:29.871+02:002012-05-15T13:36:29.871+02:00No, didn't try to put up a link. She'd built a brand new house up there, but we dined with her aunty who made sure that she had a farang friendly dish available at dinner time...omelette :) But I enjoyed everything, including the ant egg soup. I think they thought I'd freak out when they told me what it was, but I kept on eating it. I actually felt bad, later while reflecting, I thought perhaps this had been a the highlight of dinner and I'd eaten most of it.

I bought deep friend bamboo worms from street sellers, as I was advised not to buy them from the supermarkets because you never know how fresh they are. If they're being sold in the streets/markets it means that they're in season and fresh.Snaphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15800305875871746333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7028811153379946839.post-29531449844653100462012-05-14T19:58:59.916+02:002012-05-14T19:58:59.916+02:00It was not bad but not my favorite Thai dish but a...It was not bad but not my favorite Thai dish but a lot better than fried silk worms.biervoormijhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00351247668510605694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7028811153379946839.post-18566234558433347462012-05-14T19:56:00.588+02:002012-05-14T19:56:00.588+02:00I have read about the ant egg soup but don't t...I have read about the ant egg soup but don't think I have every seen it.
