Windmills De 1200 & De 1100 Roe

This windmill is on the road in the direction of Haarlem and has the name of "De 1200 Roe". The link is in Dutch but give some details about the windmill that was built in 1632 and restored in 1979. It is said the name comes the distance it is from the Haarlem Gate in Amsterdam. The Bloem that was in yesterdays post is also known as the 400 Roe.

De 1100 Roe is one windmill that I did not know about and saw on the wikipedia webpage when I was working on these posts. I had a bit of a problem finding it but think it is an attractive windmill on the edge of town in the west part of the city from 1674.
