Den Haag / Binnenhof / Ridderzaal / Knight's Hall

Madurodam is a small version of the Netherlands. It has all of the major sites in the Netherlands in miniature. This is 2 versions of the Ridderzaal (Knight's Hall) which is the center of the Dutch Government in Den Haag

  1. Wow, that is amazing! I really enjoy the photos on your blog, you have been to so many places.

I am trying to find a search or tags section to see if there are photos in your archives of:

    Spain, Australia and Russia?

    1. Thanks for the comment it is always nice to know someone is enjoying it.

I guess I need to figure out how to set up a search within blogger and start using tags but for the time being you can click on the link to the right for My Webpage and almost all of the pictures I am putting on here are on my website by country. I have only been to St Petersburg in Russia and have not made it to Australia yet but have been to Spain a few times.

  2. I love photos! The second one especially is quite gothic. I can only imagine what the inside looks like. Thank you!

    1. I did not put it in the post but the bottom picture is the real one and the top is the fake to go with my photo theme for the week. I believe the top photo is a recreation of Prinsjesdag which I would compare to the US State of the Union address. On Prinsjesdag the Queen gives a speech that covers the plans of the government for the coming year.

I took a tour of the Binnenhof but it has been over 10 years ago and I don't recall what the inside of the Ridderzaal / Knight's Hall looked like. Maybe I should go do it again sometime.

      Thanks for the comment.
